Moments and Memories

There are moments and memories that never leave our being. They linger in the corners of our heart and every now and again we may be transported to visit them. Lately I find myself standing with my younger self but now with an opportunity to see from a different perspective.

Sometimes I have to reassure myself that I did the very best I was able to do at that time. There is always the opportunity to make amends to myself, another or their spirit.

Forgiveness is mine to give and another's to accept. It is learning to be stretched to love even when it hurts.

May we be wise, aware and courageous to heal the past so we may be fully present before God and others in the moment.
